Thanksgiving 2012

I know, I know, like every scrapbooker, I’m perpetually behind. (Although, I’m finally the most caught up that I’ve ever been.)

I have a stack of photos for my 2012-2013 book and I’ve slowly been working my way through. That’s actually all the pages you’ve seen on the blog so far. I like to make scrapbooks per big event (I.e. my New York book, my Disney Trip book, my bridal shower book), but then I like to make a general book per year(s) for the smaller events that might only have one or two or ten photos.

Going through the stack, I found photos from Thanksgiving 2012. Time to get those in the book!

There’s nothing too special about this spread. Breaking the number one scrapbooking rule, there’s no journaling. I really couldn’t recall any notable moments to write down; like, I couldn’t remember anything at all. All I know is that I took a couple of photos because my relatives were visit.

But hey, I had the photos so into the scrapbook they go.

I loved this paper, and the whole autumn set. I haven’t really had an autumn pages to use it on, so I was pleasantly surprised that I remembered to use it here.

The letter were hard to see because that paper matches the background paper so much, so I matted it, outlined it, and put it on too of a thin contrasting paper.

The small strip of wood paper under the title is DCWV’S The Stack 5, all other paper from MakingMemories Autumn Splendor set, letters from the Cuttin’ Up Cricut Cartridge, and vellum is K&Company.
