New Blinds

I’ve mentioned it before, but being young and owning a townhome means that Tab and I don’t have lots of extra money. That means that when I save up of something big (and new!), I want to remember it!

We cashed out our credit card points for hardware store gift cards, and were finally able to upgrade our one giant pink (!) blind for some nice, smaller brown ones.

Obviously we’re thrilled to have blinds that are actually the right size for our windows, but I really love the color too.

The color is a little yellow in the photos from the lighting and the sun setting, but I don’t mind.

I recently bought a stack of 8.5×11″ paper from Michaels (Recollections brand) because I loved the patterns on the paper. There’s lot of floral prints, which I love, and some geometric prints as well.

I was really excited to use one of those sheets of paper here, and I based the page around it, finding some matching 12×12″ and mat paper. Since the mat paper was a little more yellow, I added ink around the sides in a light green followed by a dark green.

I could say that I went overboard with Washi tape, adding it all over the page, but I personally think that there’s nothing as too much Washi!! 😉

Washi Tape @ Michael’s

What a funny coincidence! Just like I popped in last Sunday
to tell you all there was Washi tape available at Target, I’m popping in this Sunday to tell you that Michael’s has a ton as well!

It seems like everyone might be wanting Washi as much as I do! This is great for me because, for the longest time, I could only find it online! I love that’s its in close by stores now!

Washi Tape at Target

Heads up, everyone!
I’m popping in on Sunday to let you all know that I was shopping at Target yesterday, and noticed they have quite the selection of Washi tape.

Of course, having Washi available at some place as close as Target is probably dangerous for my wallet.

Check it out!

Wishlist Fridays | Washi Wishlist

Fridays on Go Crafty alternate between Pinspiration Fridays and Wishlist Fridays. Wishlist Fridays showcase some scrapbook or crafty products that I’m currently coveting. If you want to buy them for me, I wouldn’t be opposed. I’ll try to keep it craft related, but I love food so food could always make an appearance.

Everybody and their brother is on the Washi tape train, and I am hopping on the bandwagon like nothing else. I have about six different roles of Washi tape, but four of them are all different black and white prints. I would love to add some bright colored & patterned Washi to my stash (and am actually putting a bunch on my Amazon wishlist because it’s never to early to think Christmas time)!

Here’s some Washi tapes that I’m totally crushing on!
